It depends on your tastes,...... the Ti tweets will be brighter, maybe, ( I said MAYBE,.. I personaly do not know),.... harsher than the Silk tweets.

The crossovers have -3 dB, 0 dB, and +3 dB jumpers for the tweeters,... I have the silks w/ the jumper set at 0 dB,. and they are plenty loud and smooth as cream butter. But these are the first silk tweets I have owned too!!

I don't think I will ever be going back to Ti or even bothering w/ aluminum tweets.

I have both these CDT tweeters. I prefer the titanium ones, the silk tweeters were smooth but lacked alot of detail.
