what is the best position for front speakers?

i moved my mids from bottom of door to up high near window glass and i hear left louder.

i plan to put them again down in door but i don't know if it's good for stereo reproduction to give them an angle,to aim at listener.

    is this good?

the further the better for speaker placement. therefore minimize path length difference between the right and left channel.

Also the kick panel is the most typical spot for front soundstage. The tweeters should be mounted as close as possible to the woofer.

Try making some fiberglass kick pods. Up high in your door is not the ideal position for mids or highs.
