kicker speakers any good?

i'm looking to upgrade the stock speakers in my corolla because i blew the door speakers, i found a deal on amazon that seems pretty **** good, its $100 for 2 kicker ds6 1/2" door speakers, and 2 kicker ds693 6x9s all brand new. thats about $100 cheaper than buying them at best buy or walmart, each of them is 50rms and 70rms so i was going to power them with my old bossce502 2 channel, each channel puts out 125rms at 4omhs, the only way i could see powering 4 speakers on the 2 channel would be to wire each side in parallel 120rms to one channel, but i think that would make it a two omh load right, can you run door speakers at 2omhs or will it screw with the SQ?

The Kicker DS speakers are ok. Nothing special but about as good as anything you'll get for that price.

Running at 2 ohms, in your setup will not make for a noticeable decline in SQ.

I think that the KS series are pretty decent in my opinion, but, I prefer Polk Audio much more

if this is about to turn into a flame war ill just delete the thread hundred dollars for an entire system seems pretty decent, what models of polk would you reccommend in the 100-200 dollar range because im saving to get a nice 4channel to replace that pos boss

i think the polk audio db's are good bang for the buck at $120

I could not agree more, the polk budget line is great for being bang for the buck.

Polk DB series are reasonably priced, and sound very nice with 50 true rms power on them..Great speakers for the money.If you can fit the other 6.5 in the 6x9 slot?this would be ideal for the money

Both of those will sound very nice with approx 50 true watts rms on them,,nice speakers for the money..Nice find as well
