omg mcclerico... those spg's make me hard. I'm trying to see how far down sonic will go on their eBay price for those, too, lol.

That US Amps is sick. Power ratings are nuts and I'm sure it'll do rated or more.
The Credence look odd...I don't know how to classify them. They could be solid performers, though.
yea ***** i bought them right before boston went to clearance all there **** and it was still hard to find those spg-tr's. with 500 plus horse at the wheels i needed a light box and light speakers but big soud. went with the 2 cube box and the 2 pr's at 30hz and 2 spg's

The only issue I can see is with the tube final stage as far as relaiblility goes. There are quite a few things that tubes do not like such as vibration, being power on and then off in a rather short duration of time (they like to be on for hours), and extreme temp changes. It would be exposed to all of this in the car. I would be interested to see how they got around this. Though despite the questionable relability. I'm sure that amp has to sound wonderful, it would be a pleasure to listen to some Dave Brubeck or Miles Davis on that thing. Also that price ain't to bad either for what it is.

wa sloud as **** but after i put 5k of engine work turbo lol alum heads etc the weight had to go. had to put spring spacers higher springs etc for the box 4 zrs's (basically ab xfl's), and the 2 ia9's(audioque 2200ds) and 2 100 pound batteries in the wheel well lol. I tore it out and put the spg's in lol gase mileage went from 10mpg to 12 mpg lol
Tubes in car amps have been done a few times before this particular model. Don't remember what the winning formula was, but IIRC the tubes play VERY little a part in the whole workings of the amp. It was more of a gimmick than anything. Now REAL tube amps, especially the ones that used Japanese/Russian tubes, were everything you're mentioning and more.
TBH, I think the way car amplification is going these days with the lines blurring more and more between A/B and D in terms of SQ, I think there's going to be even more extremely interesting offerings from the industry. We just need to convince the major manufacturers from making a mockery of what we do. The future is NOT amps that receive a BTAudio signal. They should have taken that tech and made it so you could adjust all the amp's settings via BT instead and they would have literally flown out the door.

x2 i think companies should move to not the amp itself but how the amp receives a signal etc. I know a buddy of mine made an optical sender to remove interference from the run of rca's. i would love a way to digitally control my amp from the front seat also
