Polk Audio DXi 570 vs Rockford Fosgate T1682
I have already had the polk's(DXi570) in my front doors for a while now. I just ordered the rockford's(T1682), so I will find this out for myself eventually but I was wanting to know which are better?
Based on the specs I was thinking the Rockford's, but I don't want to just assume that and put myself through more work than needed. If the rockford's are better then I am going to put them in the front doors and move the Polk's back to the rear doors.
For now they are being powered by a Kenwood Excelon X996 HU, but within a year I will have a Kenwood KAC-8405 powering the door speakers. This amp outputs 60w rms x4 at 4 ohms.
I know I should have got the same models in all four doors but I'm not rich and I got a good deal on the rockfords.
Just so you get an idea of my entire system....
I Have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 12". It is the model P3D2-12. I have it wired for 4ohms in a sound ordinance bass bunker 12" vented box. It is the model BB12-150v, which is 1.60 cubic feet.
The amplifier is the Kenwood KAC-9105D. Since the sub is wired for 4ohms it is outputting 500W rms to the sub, which the sub is rated to handle 600w rms. This sub/box/amp combo works great most people think I have 2 12" subs in the back.
BTW, the vehicle is a 2006 Ford Focus ZXW. Yes, the wagon style, but I'm married and have a child so I needed a vehicle like that. Even with the single 12" hatchback style box, there is a lot of room in the back for groceries and anything else.
I tried to put links on all the equipment so no one had to search for specs of my components, but I guess since I'm not a very active member or for whatever reason it denied my post with even just one link.

Re: Polk Audio DXi 570 vs Rockford Fosgate T1682
There is no one that has any experience at least with the Rockford Fosgate T1682 2-way 6"x8" speakers? I know how the Polk Audio DXi570's sound, I mainly want to know what other people think about these RF T1682.

Re: Polk Audio DXi 570 vs Rockford Fosgate T1682
These Rockford Fosgate T1682 6"x8" 2-way speakers sound good. They don't sound as good as the Polk Audio DXi570 so I left the Polk's in the front door and the Rockford's in the rear door.
I'm sure the T1682 Rockford's will sound a lot better once I hook up a 4 channel amp to all of my door speakers. I will be getting a Kenwood KAC-8405, which outputs 60Wx4 at 4ohms. I expect a great improvement in sound quality from both sets of speakers once the amp is hooked up to them.
