Looking at HAT's Mirus m61-2's they are lil out my price range but I hear good reviews. I am also looking at the ID ctx65's which fall right in my price range but yet I dnt really know what else is out there.. Mirus are 180 a pop while the ID's are only 110 a pop..

I was hoping to get more feedback on this question as well. I'll be upgrading the wife's front speakers in the minivan.

Of all the budget comps I tried when I actually did caraudio, the CTXs were my top pick.

Alpine type R speakers suuck IMO

I run those Boston's on my golf cart. Solid choice. I'd say the CTXs sound more full with the BAs having a slight advantage in the highs

Lots of ppl swear by the Maximo's but i feel like Pioneer D series could take them out....
Not a fan of CDT, especially for the money...
