Should I go Active with Hertz XL's?

Ok, I just got a set of Hertz HSK 165XL's along with a audiocontrol EQS. Wondering if I should attempt to go active and run each speaker off 125rms or just use the crossovers and run them bridged from my Eclipse amp doing 250rms/side.

Current set up: 2010 Buick Enclave, 2 12" MMATS PROCASTS 2.5@35, MMATS D200HC
Hertz 165XL comps in front door, Alpine 1507 bridged
Pioneer Z150bt Nav, Audio Technix all around.

66 Pontiac GTO, modified stock radio, Crossfire CFA 302, Kicker KS6.2's in the front kicks, Crossfire CFA 452 for the 6x9's I need.

Dude that's your call. Active has the potential to sound much better, but requires a lot more work, time, and patience on your part.

Which I have none of those...lol. Guess I'll just roll with the crossovers bridged

Do you have a friend willing to put in some work, time, and patience. Active is worth it.

Nope, unless I pay a shop to do so and thats not happening. Not many that know what they are talking about around Tucson.
