My left speaker randomly cut off and now only the right speaker plays, maybe loose wire, but when I fade the HU to the right the right speaker is quieted? Wtf is going on

your left and right channels are reversed and you have a loose wire, all easy fixes.

glad it was an easy find/fix, as for the short all I have ever had to track down where always at the speaker terminal in the door(non amped systems)except my own which I had a broken wire at the amp that took a minute to find because it seemed tight and one half working rca(sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn't) once.Originally Posted by Fi-brations

Ya I had time to check right before work, the ground wire to the speaker itself came off, and I had soldered it too ****
