Honda Civic front stage...

Fixing up my girlfriends car, needing help with the front stage. I'm going to keep the stock tweeters or get rid of them all together. I'm looking to replace the 6.5" door speakers, probably coax because I'm not looking to spend a ton on a component set for her car. They will be run off a 4 channel 450w (probably around 75rms) amp, the rear will be the two pioneer premier 6x9's laying around just with slight gain for fill. The sub stage is going to either be a pioneer 10" 250rms or the extra champion pro I have running off a 1200.d monoblock or if I go with the smaller sub a 400w amp.


Anybody have suggestion on some good 6.5's with good midbass?

The pioneers in her car now are (much) worse at producing midbass than the stock speakers in my pontiac. They are hooked up to an amp too. They distort without the high pass filter on them around 100hz plus.
