    Ribbon Tweets

I was curious if anyone around here has used ribbon tweeters in a system?
...something like this : Aurum Cantus APR2.0 Ribbon Tweeter 276-434

    Thanks - Jeff

Both could work in a car, but diffraction will be quite difficult to control.

Those are quite nice, but you'll probably want active crossovers. I used these in place of 4" midrange in my old Boston Pro 3 way sets in my last car and was very happy.

Planar mids/tweets sound great IMO, but their sound is very sensitive to location and aiming. You may have to get very creative to have them in a good location on the right plane and axis. Definitely something you will want to temporary mount and try a variety of locations and aimings before you go cutting anything.

Thanks for the input..I currently use some tired coaxes in front and rear. I think ill stick with a conventional component upgrade. But the front doors on my 'burban are so big and tempting..lol
