Wanting some new 6x9s in the $50 price range

I've been using the stock speakers (plus subs) in my 2006 Chevrolet Malibu since I got it. They're not too bad, they don't distort or anything at high volumes, they're actually pretty good if you ask me. They sound better than the upgraded Bose system in my moms 2011 Enclave.

Anyway I'm looking to start off small by replacing the two 6x9s first. I'm looking to spend around $50 and don't want to go over my budget too much. I've really been leaning towards the Kicker DS693s but I'd like some other recommendations too. I don't plan on having them amped, just powered by my head unit.

Are these in the rear deck with the subs in the trunk?

Unless they're separated somehow it's a good way to damage the 6x9's. With the sub going you're probably not hearing a whole lot of out those anyway. I'd concentrate more on the front speakers. Get a good enough set of fronts and you won't even need the 6x9's.

I was trying to avoid taking the door panels off. What are your recommendations for front 6.5s?
