Icon32 Do these Coaxial Speakers look decent for my daily driver?

Well I have a daily driver that has a couple blown factory speakers in it.
The car all factory speakers in it now.
I plan on just replacing the speakers with Coaxial speakers because they are cheaper and this car is just a beater.
The car takes 5.25 speakers in all the door and back hatch.
The speakers I came across are SoundStorm LS52 .
I will be powering the speakers off the Head unit itself.
The headunit is a Kenwood KDC-138.
I could order 2 pairs of them for $28 shipped.
So that will do all 4 doors.
I am sure they will be better then my blown factory speakers but I just want some peoples opinions.
The car by the way is a 1993 Dodge Shadow ES.

Absolutely not. That is one of the last companies I would reccomend even on a homemade bicycle system (which I've seen first-hand).

Do yourself a favor and try Cadence. They're budget friendly and wont sound worse than the factory's did. Promise.

Re: Do these Coaxial Speakers look decent for my daily driver?

I wouldn't bother with 'em. Like said above, Cadence makes some good budget speakers. I'd look to spend at least $40 a piece. Maybe around $200 for a couple pairs. I know it seems silly and it seems like a lot, but it's a solid investment. You say the car is just a beater, but you can always take the speakers out and put them in your new car, that's the beauty. Treat the speakers well, and buy a decent pair, they can last over a decade.
    Here's some cheap Cadence ones....
Cadence Acoustics Flash Series FS5525, 5.25
Cadence Acoustics ZRS Series ZRS-55s, 5.25" Two-Wat 100 Watt Super Slim Speaker System
Cadence Acoustics ZRS Series ZRS-55, 5.25" Two-Way 180 Watt Speaker System
Also, if your car does have a stock tweeter location, a pair of components can be had at a good price that would sound great.
Here are some other lower-level options. You're not gonna have much low-end output with cheaper speakers, especially with coaxes, so most don't play very much below 60hz.
JBL GTO528 5-1/4" Grand Touring Series 2-way Car Speakers
DLS Performance Classic 225 5-1/4" 2-Way Car Speakers
DLS Classic 125 5-1/4" Performance Series Coaxial Car Speakers
