Replacing Diaphragm

is it possible to replace a different tweeter's busted dome with this? Dayton Audio RS28F-4RD 1-1/8" Silk Replacement Diaphragm 275-142

I believe it would have to be the same mass and whatnot to get the same output as before.

Just replace the tweeter w/a reconable one. If it blows again THEN replace the diaphragm.
