Just got an aftermarket HU installed, unfortunately no type of filter.
Do these really work? They are a godsend if they do!

They are crossovers... of course they work.
Awesome, just making sure it wasn't one of those "gimmicks" Like those italian horsepower chips for dodges.

What's interesting is that they don't tell you what ohm speakers it's designed for to get that 400hz crossover point....I assume 4ohm, but they should still specify.
1,000+ designs since March 2011...
I have my PM's turned off, please email at Ryan@RAM-Designs.com
Agreed, Ill find out when they get here if they make a difference, anything is better than buzzing door panels
they also make inline rca ''bass blockers'' as well. 400hz is really no help at all though. What are you going to be running them to I'm guessing mids?
I am protesting Skar by giving them added exposure in my signature.

80 Hz High Pass 4 Ohm Crossover 266-456
I'd use these, they cost more but you will still get full sound.

If you HPF your mid bass at 400Hz you won't have any mid bass at all. Just mid range and treble. It will sound terribly hollow and lacking.

Should be 400hx @ 4 ohms.....
Silently stalking you through glass....
Don't care for midbass, more a tweeter guy. Just listen to rap mainly. Now if i had the cash for a nice amped setup, it would be different.
Holy hell 400 hz? Some parts of your voice are lower than that.

Fun fact: While speaking you exert frequencies in the single digits.
