high end components on $500ish budget

Hi everyone I'm in the process of building my "dream" system, and am looking for some front components for my jeep. I now have some polk mm6501 but am looking for a good 3 way set (something out of the normal brands rockford jl etc..) with atleast a 6.5 woofer. I plan on fiberglassing enclosures for them. I am running a rockford t800-4ad for my components. Any ideas? Thanx

A DIY 3-way set is going to require passive crossovers on the amp the OP listed. This limits him to component sets, which is by far the most painless approach to doing the difficult 3-way configuration.

Consider the JL Audio C5 3-way. They cost under $400 online..

I was looking at the cdt 642 before and was pretty impressed. Can cdts handle a decent amount of power and stay clean? There isn't all tht much info on them online
