I need a set of component speakers for the front and regular for the back.

    Head unit
    Kenwood Excelon KDC-X695

Would the Polk Audio MM6501 be good? I was going to get the Db6501 instead but I guess the MM series is better??

And for the rear the Db651.

How should I power these speakers? 2channel amp for the front and headunit for the rear? or just a 4 channel amp for all of them?

I wanted people to tell me which ones are good and will do the job.

What is a good 2 channel amp to power the MM6501s?

if you can afford it, look into the alpine pdx amps. They have a small footprint and sound very good. and are VERY underrated. Mine was rated at 75x4 and benches over 100w per channel.

X3 on the Alpine PDX, come with a slip with how much their actually rated. Usually way over the RMS on the box..
