Have you actually heard both of these together to make that assumption? These morels rate up there with the Hertz esk. why are you such a hater white dragon?

funandgames thanked for this post
they're the same set. but he's not running amp either. before i added an amp to my pioneers they werent impressive, but after the amp they sound 10x better.
he also said the morels werent as loud. my subs are already trying to drown out my pioneers as it is lol so i cant get any lower atleast until I can upgrade my amp.
I wish I could compare the 2 I have heard some pioneer comps in a shop amped and I didn't care for them. I was going to buy bostons untill they put these on sale and then i just couldn't resist. I'm glad I did 2 ,as I think I'm a morel fan for life now. These morels get very loud with the amp I have on them, loud enough to hurt your ears, but yet they don't distort. All I can say is that everyone that has heard them has been very impressed.

Thats wassup then! I love my pioneers, I think i need more power to them though, because my bostons on my golf cart maintain clarity at high volume better.
But every since i turned those POS mids in the rear down, my clarity in my car is much better. not quite as loud but im workking on putting Pioneer D-series all the way around.

Yeah, those pioneers got pretty loud & pretty clear off of just HU power, just a little too bright for my taste, kinda harsh on the ears & the midbass was horrid, the midrange had to be the best part of this set though.
So far the morels have been keeping up with my sub after a little bit of tuning, After I broke them in they started to keep up with the bass. I must say that this component set has very noticeable and accurate midbass, amazing vocals too. I can't wait to get an amp to these, Even without it they maintain clarity at high volumes. My highs no longer hurt my ears due to harshness and that is mainly what I have been looking for. The tweets and midwoofer compliment each other perfectly.
I could be at a bias with these sets because I have not had an amp running to them, but princ3mo I really think you should check out the morels. I'm a pretty big fan after using the pioneer set, its well worth the money, I would have easily paid 125 for these.

The Beryiliums are one series above the K's (I know the Beryliums are thier super expensive high end set).. the K's are still thier upper end but not thier top Tier. $1000 comps better be on the upper end somewhere! Comparing a K to a Polyglass is just retarded. That said.. both sets are great.
