    Best speakers under 500?

    Hey I am helping a friend install a stereo in his 2010 camaro. What are the best speakers we could put in the doors? 6.5 component.

    I was looking into focal and rainbow but want to stay around 500 bucks.

    Lots of speakers out there in that price range , but remember its all about how its installed not what you install. I have cheap JBL 5.25's and 11 dollar vifa tweets , BUT , they are connected to a very clean source unit and uber clean amps. They sound awesome.

    yea if your spending this much money, you are going to want to deaden your doors etc.
    for 500 bucks id rather get a pair of image dynamocs and use the rest of the money to deaden my doors.

    The 500 is the budget for just the front speakers. Obviously deadning will be done. But I am not factoring any of that into this cost. I am pretty sure after talking to Focal yesterday I will be going with 165 v30.

    Hybrid Audio over all. My local shop sells the Clarus for $450 which is not bad for what you get and that's the best.
