Ken. KFC-XR51p or Inf. 50.5cs?

I'm still in the hunt for some 5-1/4" components. I've narrowed the search down to Kenwood excelon KFC-XR51p or Infinity Kappa 50.5cs. Any opinions?

Personally I like Infinity. Excelon is the only thing from Kenwood that's worth anything, so they might work for you.
The kenwood's have a little better sensitivity, but cannot be pushed as hard as the infinity's can.

But you know, I have found that speakers are a bit like shoes; they have to be comfortable to you, and your listening habits; and durable enough to take abuse if you like it loud.

Take the cleanest, favorite CD's you have, and with all gains flat-lined, do a side by side compairison at a store (Does'nt mean you gotta buy from 'em).
Listen real good WITHOUT cranking the volume too high (Overloads your ears), unless high SPL is all your after. Both brands are loud enough to give you hearing damage.

So, just see what speakers your ears like best.

Yeah def look for quality speakers that can take abuse.And out of those choices id prob go with the infinitys.
