    MB Quart RCE164 haz SQ?

    how do these sound?
    MB Quart RCE164 - Sonic Electronix

    i can get them like new local for 50 bucks or so. i am looking for SQ all the way. does the crossover included have a output for a tweeter?

    and if i get these what tweeter do you recomend? i like crisp clean tweets.

    Those mids look very similar to the Eclipse SC8362 mids from the 3 way set.

    If you look at Sonic and enlarge the crossover image you can see that it doesnt have input's for tweeters. Its a single crossover for both mids.

    As for what tweeters. I think you would enjoy the LPG 26NA's. They are an aluminum dome tweeter, but they arent harsh like the others. They are open and airy like a silk dome, but very detailed like an aluminum dome.

    those tweets sound like they would be amazing. so let me get this straight. i could need a HPF for the tweets seperatly. then find a mid to go from 250hz to about 2k or when even the tweet get crossed at.

    Yes or you could just buy the mids and crossovers and find someone that has a pair of used 2 way crossovers cheap. Sell the ones that come with the MB Quarts. Those mids are worth $50 alone.
