I did some searching and was wondering if it would be better and cheaper for him to just buy two of these and some **** mids? I'm assuming you would need a crossover of some kind?

110 RMS at 3Khz and above is awesome. Only problem is 8 ohm.... Assuming he got a mid that handles 100 RMS at 100hz and above he would need a beefy 4 channel and big crossovers to handle 200 watts RMS. 100hz to 3Khz for the mids, 3Khz to 22Khz for the super tweeter. How would that be possible to wire? He would need 8 ohm mids correct?
