That by going active and loosing the ability to power my rear Pioneer rev series 6.5 speakers will brighten the sound of the car in general....? I do not have the capability of adjusting the cutoffs on the HU but certainly on my digital amp.
If I do infact go active...this will be using the DLS RS6 speakers for sure.

I always was under the impression of having rear speakers would generally be better instead of downgrading to less speakers...

I think you should remain passive and make sure you can still properly power those rears. If your rear stage is lacking nothing else matters.

hmmmmm When I turn off the rears...I feel like I am missing something...I like the full sound...
