The older style RE RE's I had were a great set for $100. I'm pretty sure they haven't changed much on the new style. Good mids, somewhat harsh tweets, but nevertheless a solid set. I set mine to 115 wRMS per side and they they loved it.

thats why i said for the price not bad at all. im not a fan but ....... have to at least be honest. for a similar price the almanis i sell have way way better midbass tho and the tweets are alot more natural sounding.
