Should I let the headunit set the crossover or let it run "through" and let the crossovers earn their Money??
thanks

The other crossovers are where, on the amp, or a separate unit?
If on the amp, use the HU so you can adjust from the front seats.
If its a separate unit, it depends on whether it has better crossovers (higher slopes, more adjustments) than the HU itself.
These are the crossover units that came with my polk db6501's. I have my system setup like this: head unit = rca'ed to amp = wire's to crossovers for each speaker (polk db6501's and polk momo 690's), from crossovers to speakers.
Thanks

the passive crossover separates frequencies to the woofer and tweeter and the hu crossover or amps xover acts as a filter, you need some type of high pass filter unless you will be listening at low volume all the time

TBH, when I used passives, I would still HP @ the HU....like 60 Hz or so
