those comps are ok

Good setup? I don't want it insanely loud, just nice and clear.

With that kind of budget, I would try that new PPI set that everyone's been raging about.
PM sent.

Would these work better than the MB quarts? http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=19755
Apperantly the MB Quarts are only 35 watts per channel

whats you budget for comps?
i suggest you get something than can handle and perform.
dont think you ONLY NEED so much power cuz u gonna want more
I just got a set of rainbow slc and im feening to ditch them
I really don't want to spend more than $150 bucks on them. And yes if I get something that doesn't get loud I'll be disappointed. For the rear deck I have some old Jenson 6x9 Tri-Axels that are 60w rms each. I plan on making a center console out of fiberglass and wood for the speakers since there is no room in the doors or kick panels. It should work well as long as I get the speakers aimed good. The speakers will go right under the dash pointing at the driver and passenger in front of the B&M shifter, then I'll make the console extend back around the shifter so it looks nice.

Are these 100w per channel or 50w? http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=17570

I'll adapt the console to whatever speakers I get, I haven't made anything yet but there is a ton of room under the dash for them. For the substage stage I'm gonna go with an Alpine Type R 12 inch sub with an Alpine 500 watt amp, it should sound pretty good.![]()
