No, I'm not talking about the 4 inchers. They have a set that comes with 4 6.5's and 2 tweeters.

I think he means (4) mid's. And that depends, there are a few different sets with an optional 2nd pair of mids. They're normally referred to as 'Kicks'.

Are you saying that all the ones with Kick in the description has 4 mids? Are they supposed to play different frequencies or the same?

Not sure about that one, but it's not Kick, I just looked. Anytime you see a 4xx.25, that's a set with dual woofers. Kick's are sets that use drivers geared mroe towards midbass rather than midrange/midbass.

I know the Germaniums offer an additional set of 6.5" woofers in one of their sets. Like others have said, if you're seriously considering Rainbow gear, Don(6spdcoupe) is the man to talk to. VERY helpful before you buy, and good prices.

I can vouch for that. I just bought a set of Germanuims from Don and the price was great, service was beyond excellent and he kept in touch with me the whole way till Fedex dropped them off. Now all I gotta do is get them installed........ thanks again Don.

Ken's post above is correct. 465.25 denote dual midbass option. CMX has been discontinued and replaced with SAC (aluminum version of SLC). Dual mid bass option has been carried over to that line.
