1 L7 vs. 2 Cvr?

I have a opportunity to get a 12" kicker L7 for like $100.00. Right now I have 2 12" cvr with a db drive 1900 d class amp. I can smell voice coils burning with the cvr. Should I go after that 1 L7 or stay with what I have? What would hit harder?

1L7 in a properly built ported box will SLAM...

2 cvr's get my pick, but for that price buy the l7 and sell it to someone else for profit

If you have the room i would go with the pair of CVR's ported, they will move more air due to more cone area.
