Need help selecting components for 09 escape?

I need some help here picking a set of components for my 09 ford escape. I want something to sound way better then the stock speakers in the front door. I will be using a amp and found some of these speakers being price as a issue: Has any one used any and can give some expertise?

Kicker Resolution RS56.2

INFINITY REFERENCE 5020CS

Any thoughts would be great.

do you need 6.5 or 5.25 inch?

I would say 6.5 to give me better low end as i am not putting a sub in my 09 ford escape.

Hw many watts rms will your amp be giving the comps? Whats your budget for them?

i would propably use a KICKER ZX150.2 or Phoenix Gold QX2180
and keep the speakers under 200$ I already was looking at
Pioneer TS-D1720C

You can get much better sound for the same price range compared to those Pioneers. Check out the Rainbow, CDT and Image Dynamics CTX65cs's.

What about these Cdt's.. i am using them and they sound great. smooth tweeters, full midbass and very detailed and warm mids.

129 and free shipping is alot better. So u are happy with yours? Do u have a sub as well? I won't be so will these still provide me with good bass and clairity ?

Deaden your doors well and will have very nice solid midbass.
