Looking for a set of 6.5" components

I need suggestions for a good set of 6.5" components. Preferably under 500 dollars. They will be powered by an Alpine V12 4 channel amp that is rated at 125x4 with the option of bridging it to a 2 channel. A lil background on my preferences. I do like it loud and clear with the high end not too bright. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help!

Re: Looking for a set of 6.5" components

I'm right there with ya. I'm the Newbie in town, and just picked up an 08 Honda Civic. I don't need loud, but crystal clear. Have older MB Q's in my F150, ut this new Civic will be my commuter, so the sound has to be right on.
I've been looking at new MB Q's, JL's, Boston's, Polk, and now, the very nicely rated Phoenix Gold RSD & V65c. Soooooooo many choices, but limited budgets.

Thanks for any help and suggestions-

You should try to listen to the ID XS65 comps.

Re: Looking for a set of 6.5" components

I'd like to go with 6.5 components up front, and 6.5 coax in the back. $200- 250-ish?

    Thanks!

I would leave the rears stock or out and spend the money towards better comps for the front.
