I need a new set up.

Set me up. Speakers and speaker amp arent there anymore.

Would like to have some new speakers and amp that are JL because of the quality.

I drive an 02 explorer.

I have 2 T1's now with a 1500-bd amp. Now I need some speakers to make it sound good. Help me out guys. JL preferred on both speakers and amp. Try not to make them to expensive. I know JL makes some speakers for 90 bucks shipped on ebay. Something in that area. Thanks!

you'd be better suited with RF power equipment. I've had the RF power series comps off a t400-2 and the combo was amazing. I didn't even care about not having a sub when I used that combo

JL speakers sound bad IMO. No tonality and no dynamics. Why are you stuck on JL

have some of the best sounding comp sets out, can you spend then $90.00 bucks?
you can also look into DIY,Which will be cheaper & sound better than mose comp sets scanspeak,Vifa,Seas,Aurum Cantus,Etc.....
you can go active or passive it's up to you.
JL makes nice amps but there mids & tweeters are ok.
