new comps for $225

$225 is my max for speakers right now and im looking for something specific.

- I need a LOUD tweeter that stays very clear because when i take the top off my jeep i want them to scream for parties and such where usually my car is the source of music if outside

- Im not too concerned about amazing midbass I just want it to be loud enough that it keeps up with the tweets just DECENT is all i need.

I'll be running these on 55wrms each for lack of a larger amp...

so basically loud clear tweets and solid midbass for $225ish

i got 2 sets of alphasonik 6.5s
200 watt max
so theyll take whatever you wanna throw at them
they sound real good (tweeters alike)

4-6.5s
4-tweeters
4 crossovers

(one set is just opened to check out)
one set was hooked up to check out how they sound, ran for about a week

They are loud enough for my ears. They won't pierce your ears or anything but they get plenty loud for me.... If you want to spend a little more you can get some better speakers .... Up it to about 250-275.

I'd bump your budget up and get a set of Morel Tempo 6. I've been running mine for over 2 weeks and absolutely LOVE them compared to my previous 720PRS, and my HSK165.

Tweeter is SUPER detailed! Midbass is SICK!

well thanks to datboiroy i will have some focal access series speakers comming in.

i know i like them because i have heard a few sets of them so thats what ill do.
