People Iam about to purchase CDT 6.5 c61. Do all think this is a good component system? would focal or eclipse be better?

They are a great component set. What specific models are you looking at from Eclipse and Focal?

for the $149 I paid for my CDT CL61's from www.thezeb.com I think they are amazing. In my opinion one of the best bang for your buck deals in components at this time.
They are hard to beat, especially at $149.Originally posted by snipe523

Some love the Type R's, while others hate them. Personally, I like the well rounded tweeter of the CDT's and the punchy and ever-so-accurate midbass of the Type R.

FYI from my conversation with CDT Direct.
CDT Classics CL61 vs CDT HD 62
Only difference between the 2 is their MID BASS driver..so you are really getting the HD Xovers and tweets...If you sell your Classic 6.5 driver and use the money to get the 6.5 HD drivers, you'll have a CDT HD set.
Just FYI.
