Got my Hertz components in...active help

    :copy from build thread:

Hertz ML280 amd ML1600 which are the same pieces they use in the MLK2 setup, minus the Xover, was going with the mlk165 but the tweets on these sold me, pure secsy in person, not a big fan of the other ones

uses NEO mag, because im concerned about weight and gas mileage

for a set of 700$ tweeters, they are nice enough to give you a sticker

the whole tweeter housing is milled out of aluminum

can change the back chamber on the tweets to tweak the roll off and such, kinda deep to be mounting in some locations

now im gonna be using my 3sixty.2 as the xover, havnt run active yet, so its gonna be a learning experience for us, prolly gonna start about 2khz and play around with them a little and then go from there

tweeters are going in A pillar, mids in stock location, gonna be deadening them good, prolly hp them at 80-90 at -24db, working on redoing everything in the truck so wont be too long

    hope it turns out good

I've got some really cool stock speakers that we could trade.

I'd probably come out a bit at a loss, but you seem like a nice guy. Go ahead and send me all your stuff mmk?

    Thanks..

But back on track, I really want to see how this turns out...

shallow?, alot deeper than my pro 60s

pretty deep speakers in person, i think its around 3" deep ,not as bad as the mlk165 woofers which use ferrite magnet

yea, mlk2 set retails like $2k, but they come in a big aluminum briefcase, and no need for crossovers, so i chose to just buy the drivers seperate, saved a good bit

What's the FR on those tweeters? Mids?

If you have an FR graph, it would help to better see an ideal place to start. Though best sound will come from tweaking
