seriously??
set the dmm like you usually would when checking voltage....use the pos on the dmm..... put that on one wire and the other to a local ground.....which ever one reads is pos
that make sense?

Probe the power and ground. If it's +12v then just go by the DMM leads. If it's -12v, then reverse the leads.
ok thanks and yes seriously bc the subs are mounted in the box and dont want to take them back out
So your trying to figure out the subs positive and negative terminals? Thats different.
