Jl tr versus vr

What are the advantages of the Jl Vr components compared to the Jl Tr components? The only difference is that the Vr components use a cross over and the Tr do not.

Everything on the VR is just a little bit better. They're not as harsh, they have more midbass, and they have better sound reproduction than the TR. If you can't get the VRs cheap enough to fit your budget, try out the Pioneer D-Series speakers.

OK, will the Vr's be a little louder because they can handle more wattage.
