I think S600 is a model. Then "S" refers to silk tweeter and "A" refers to aluminum tweeter.

I don't have a chance to try it yet, but from what i have read people prefer Silk Tweeters.

I have the silk tweets and they are amazing. They're very crisp and colorful. They sound good on every type of music. I wouldn't go a lot over rated power on them though. I had my gain set correctly on my zx350.2 (208 x 2) and they couldn't handle it at high volumes so I had to turn my gain down a bit and they are still shaky at high volume. Feed them 150 and they will be perfect.
