RE speakers

Are the RE 6.5 coax speakers good for coax's? are they worth $70 or are there better speakers for the price? looking for 6.5" coaxs

I sell them at work, and have been very impressed. Good tweeter, decent mid, big magnet, and seem to handle some serious abuse. IMO, they blow away a memphis pr, and put up a tough fight against a JL tr.

I would take the RE over the Alpine S series of speakers.

Another good set for dirt cheap, but worth way more than they sell for is these:

I sell the full line of RE audio coax's, and never had any problems. They have a very clean and balanced output. I also carry alpine type R, PG rsd, and mb quart and they go step for step with all of them.

Great! How is the power handling on them? They're rated at 70 watts correct? Will they take 100 well?

They are listed at 70rms, but will take 100rms with no problems as long as it's clean power.
