I've heard installers say that people use Infinity comps and coaxials and run them off of HU power and they sound decent.

I agree with the Type S, and they will sound good. My buddy has a pair on his Alpine HU and they sound dam good.

find some old school sony es components. I have a set running off a pioneer head unit in a truck and they sound spectacular. Get darn loud too.

I had polk DB650's running off a Premier 580 in my last truck. It sounded pretty good. I've heard some boston Acoustic coax's ( rated @ only 35 RMS) on a factory deck that sounded good too.

Do you think if I ran 4 6 1/2 " Alpine type S speakers off of my HU with 2 15" Kicker CVRs if they would sound decent together? Would the subs overpower my Speakers completely..? Thanks!

should sound decent... it will definantly over power your speakers, but not completely.
