Tweeter Location In mustang

Hey i have a 1991 mustang and im not srue wwere to mount my treeters i was thinking in the kicks or the pillar?problem with the kicks is there a little tucked away so not sure how theyll sound? im putting my mids in the doors

Got my rev's in the angled pods velcro'd to my sail panels. Little too harsh at really high volume.

adjust this on the eq....or maybe your crossover has the ability to attenuate the tweets

aright, also mine is a hatchback, and what are the sail pods and do you ahve a picture of your tweeters

Yeah, have them on -3db terminal on the crossovers. Also, treble down -1 to -2 but it's only bass, treble, middle adjustment on my head so I'm reluctant to adjust too much. The harshness is really only at really loud volume. I need a better EQ.

ah, foxbody eh? Don't know if you have a sail panel. The angled pod is an angled mount that came with the tweeters. The sail panel covers the interior side of the side view mirror. It's 2 am but i'll go take a pic for a fellow mustanger!

put the tweeter in the kicks - i put the tweeter in the mirrior tirangles on both my installs at first and ended up changing them
i personally dont like a-pillar or mirrior triangle locations anymore..
having them down in the kicks gives the sound wave more time to develop., should also blend better with your mids and you dont have a 3khz frequency piercing straight into your ear
