    Blow tweeter

    Some how I blew my tweeter on my new components, had them less then a mounth installed on 15 watts at 40/62! Vid up soon



    143.3 on music 145.1 on a tone
    Not bad for a single twelve in less then 3 cubes and 1,000 watts.

    Not bad for a single twelve in less then 3 cubes and 1,000 watts.

    the one time i blew a tweeter it stopped playing altogether. you might have another problem.

    No, it can be blown and only distort. It happens when the heat wasn't enough to break the coil but was enough to deform the former.
