    Spliced wires = high distrotion?

    when i installed my new 6x9's i spliced the old wires to hook the new ones up will this cause more distor then not? I heard somewhere that it did not sure though.

    it probably won't cause any right away but after a while once the wire oxidizes there may be distrotion, that is my guess.
