SQ 6.5" Component Set for 250x2 @ 4 ohms

I don't have processing power right now because I will not be upgrading my HU in my car due to stealth reasons/high crime area. I plan on getting a large 2 channel amp for my fronts. I would like them to have good SQ as well as be able to get decently loud and not sound horrible doing it.

I will be mounting the tweet off axis up in the dash facing the windshield in the stock location and the woofer will be in my properly deadened doors.

Price is anything $300 and down. I'm willing to buy used as well.

Boston Pro60s. I just sold mine... they get plenty loud and have excellent SQ in my opinion. I was running ~225w/channel to them and they handled it with ease.

i have some boston sl 60s that i could make u a pretty good deal on i like they whole boston line i am going with the spzs

Hertz High Energy, Rainbow SLCs (Germaniuams fit the price?), Pioneer 720s have seen to take 200 ish watts midbass wise.

Yeah, for that price range, and for what you want them to do for you, I'd go with the Boston PRO60's, too.

Another vote for Pro60s. They get LOUD and sound good doing it.

Why did you decide to sell them?

Got the Alpine SPX-17PROs instead I loved the Bostons though, and the Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS... both great components, and both can be had new/used for under $300 shipped.
