    Securing MDF to door?

    What have you used to secure the MDF speaker rings to your door?

    Right now I'm thinking nuts & bolts.



    Pioneer DEH-P880PRS
    Front: Polk Audio SR6500
    Amp: Alpine MRV-F545
    Sub: Polk Audio SR124DVC
    Amp: Alpine MRD-M1005

    What do you mean attach the ring?Are you going to glass it after or is it just as a spacer?

    It will be attached to the inner metal part of the door. Stock location in a 01 sebring.

    I used screws...make sure to use non-hardening modeling clay on the back of the ring, and all the way around it...

    40 min south of Rockford. We can set something up. Will have to wait until the doors are done obviously.

    i used self tapping screws to mount mine to the door panel.

    Let's plan for after the 1st. That'll give me time to get the doors done hopefully and do a little tuning.
