need a good midrange speaker

im interesting in finding a good 3.5 inch speaker that won't break the bank but still sound good...

need it to play in the 800-6k range that can handle a decent amount of power and preferably without a tweeter.. if anyone has any suggestions

Without a tweeter is a heck of a lot higher than 6k

Something like a Fostex 3" Sigma, Aura 3" or CSS FR125 (4.5") would work...

well i dont care what it really plays as long as it would be a good middle speaker for a three way setup lol

i was thinking about throwing in a decent coxial and use it with the tweeter lol but i heard two tweeters = no no /shrug

cause i wanna try to turn my cmx kicks into 3 ways for fun... im bored and feel like spending money/messing around.. they play pretty deep but the upper clairty on the mid is slightly lacking under stress (esp considering im putting double over rated power) so i wanna try to add a decent upper mid speaker in there to try to fix that prolem (gonna try a good eq first) that wont be harsh

and if it turns out horrible - i dont wanna buy expensive speakers and waste all that money.. ya know..
