i have a 04 grand gherokee and want to add a 6.5 comp set to the front. my questin is should i put the tweeters on the doors near the 6.5 or should i put them on the dash bc there are already tweeters there.
i have a 04 grand gherokee and want to add a 6.5 comp set to the front. my questin is should i put the tweeters on the doors near the 6.5 or should i put them on the dash bc there are already tweeters there.
The dash placement should be fine, but sometimes a tweeter will not work well in that location, it could be too bright or harsh.

In a 2-way I have had better luck keeping them close to driver. If running a 3-way with midb in door, mid in kicks then I would recommend tweeters in the a-pillars as an option.IMO
On the dash you can get some bad reflection off the glass. If you put them up on the dash I would put them in the a-pillars facing across from each other.IMO
