Boston Pro 6.53? New Product?? What's up with these...

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...C-sup%3E-.html

I found these on sonicelectronix' site. Curious why they are selling them so cheap compared to retail? Says they're a new product. I remember the old Pros used a similar model number but the newest Pros out are the Pro60/Pro50, etc right? Anyone know how these compare?

they are the old models. im running the 6.5 pro's in my car right now, i bought them of a buudy for 50 bucks. they sound great, great quality. the crossovers are huge though, like 4.5 x 3 or more. the only difference between the 6.53 and mine is that the 6.53 comes with a second wooder, a four or something.

If you go to Boston's site under legacy products it shows there was something made with that model number from 98 to 02. not sure if they're the same thing or not.

Well what turned me onto them is what everyone has been saying about Boston Pros on here... I decided to ditch the unknown and just ordered a set of Pro60s instead I will be running them actively off an Alpine MRV-F545, along with one SWX-1043D in a slot ported box, powered by an MRD-M1005. Headunit is the CDA-9887 It should all be here by Thursday, along with my 120 ft.^2 of eDead! Pics and reviews to come!
