what is the Difference between 0db and -3db?

Can someone explain to me what is the Difference between 0db and -3db?

i hear its about 3db

but anyyyyyways.

its just an attenuation. kinda like a fixed preset EQ. it will just soften up those tweeters a little bit if you will. if you find your tweeters are too strong using the 0db connection, switch your positive wire over to the -3db connection.
