Who said you could talk?
I am looking for a new set of components. I had eD 6500's in my old car and really enjoyed them, but with them not being sold anymore I am looking at the Rainbows. Specifically the SLC 265 and the SLC 265 Kicks. I have been told the Kicks have better midbass, but are there any distinguishing differences between these two sets? Does anyone have a comparision between the SLC's and the EDI's?

Hopefully you can find a dealer in the area or a person with them so you can hear the speakers.
The install and listening to the speakers itself will decide how much you enjoy a set of speakers. I just had my SLC kicks installed and I am very happy. They preform very well for an 'entry level' set of components.
