    Infinity 5022i VS. Infinity 5012i

    and

Both speakers seem to have about the same specs and RMS handling. I have done some research and people are leaning towards the 5022i's. Which speaker is better and why?

These are not going to be amped and are running off my Alpine 9815 deck. I am looking for more loudness than SQ because these speakers are in the front door panels and get muffled because of their horrible position.

Let me know what ya think

    Thanks

Re: Infinity 5022i VS. Infinity 5012i

The 5022s seem to be the newer model of the same speaker.

Adjustable tweeter output and slightly better efficiency (which is a good thing since you're planning on driving them with HU power) are the only real advantages I see on the 5022 over the 5012.
With your planned install it would appear that the 5022 is better for your particular application.

    the 5022s

thats the newer Infinitys(5022s) and they sound better than the 5012i which are the 2006 models, they have a bit more midbass
