    Infinity
    6012i Reference
    http://cgi.ebay.com/INFINITY-6012i-R...QQcmdZViewItem

    http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-DS60-6-5-...QQcmdZViewItem

They will be powered by my Kenwood KDC-MP5032 HU. The speakers I have in there now are stock. They will be running alongside my 12" L7.

Can you guys tell me which one you think would be the best for me? I'm not asking that you look at each link, if you can tell me your gut feeling which would be best, that would be fine.

    Thanks,

Stay away from Audiobahn and Infinity....You may want to consider Clif or Polk

Re: Help on some budget 6.5's

I have both the Infinity coaxials and the Premier coaxials(2006 model though) and the Infinitys have greats highs, crystal clear, and crisp but lack in midbass, but the Premiers have good midbass, with decents highs, and get pretty loud, and theyre both off HU power

Id have to disagree with Lou.CRX, IMO I think Inifnity speakers are good, and are really cheap online, and decent

Re: Help on some budget 6.5's

With that sub, it will drown out and overpower any speakers you have running off of HU power. What will happen is, you won't be happy with the sound, and you'll then want to upgrade the rest of your system, so the money you're spending now on new coaxials will be wasted.

I suggest you save a little longer, until you have about $200, and get a good, low-cost set of component speakers, such as the Phoenix Gold RSd65cs, and an amp for them, such as the Profile AP600. These can be aquired for under $200 shipped, with some careful shopping.

The sound of your system will be orders of magnitudes better.
